A dedicated lifetime learner, as Senior UX Web Designer Lian utilizes her thirst for and application of knowledge when employing her skills in web and UX design, as well as front-end prototyping. Her professional specialties include design principles, website and template design, visual problem-solving, graphic design, keeping an eye on the details and looking ahead, and advocating for brand and design integrity.
Before joining the Palantir.net team, Lian was Senior Web Designer at Northwestern University's Office of Global Marketing and Communication. Part of her role was to extend and build upon the established Northwestern brand and remix it to design and redesign sites across the university.
She has also previously worked for an agency that designed web advertising for music and sports brands like Justin Bieber, Janet Jackson, Grateful Dead, the Boston Celtics, and the Minnesota Timberwolves. She was also a print graphic designer for many years before she entered the world of web design.
Lian enjoys going out to new or favorite restaurants and bakeries - essentially, she loves being a tourist within the city she lives. She equally likes lazy weekend mornings with a cup of coffee and the latest episode of whatever she's watching at the time.
