Those who have met us know that it's the team that makes Palantir what it is. Given that, it's understandable that our recent public announcement that we were planning to grow might have made some folks a little nervous. Let me reassure you, however, that this growth was approached with our usual commitment to sustainability and quality. It had been in the works for some time and I think everyone will be excited by the outcome.

Palantir had never done such a public search, and we didn't know what to expect. I was truly humbled by the response we received and very much appreciate the interest from all of the wonderful and talented folks who applied. I am nevertheless happy to announce that our search is closed.

On behalf of the entire Palantir team, I am very pleased to welcome Dave Reid, Arthur Foelsche, Bevan Rudge, April Peck, and Bec White!

The Engineering team is getting quite a boost with Dave, Arthur, and Bec. Dave (Dave Reid) has been with Palantir a few weeks now as a senior engineer and is already releasing useful new modules. As a leading contributor to Drupal 7 and one of the authors of the upcoming third edition of Pro Drupal Development, Dave is a key part of our Drupal 7 development strategy. Arthur (arthurf) is a tech lead and senior engineer. As the maintainer of Media Mover module, Arthur is another influential part of our D7 development efforts. Finally, Bec (bec) brings all her geolocation and not-for-profit experience to our Engineering team.

Bevan (bevan) joins our Front-end Development (FED) team as a senior front-end developer. A permanent member of the Drupal Association, Bevan is an active community member and a jack-of-all-Drupal-trades with expertise in theming, Javascript, and module development.

April joins Palantir's Client Services team as a project manager. She brings experience keeping Drupal project teams on schedule and on budget, managing both client relationships as well as end-to-end Web design and development projects.

We're getting the whole gang together the week before DrupalCamp Chicago and to celebrate we're having an open house on June 24 from 4-7 p.m. If you're interested in attending please RSVP for the Palantir Open House through Eventbrite as space is limited. If you can't make it to the open house, we hope to see you at DrupalCamp. Dave, Ken, John, and Bevan are planning to stay for the camp and will be there in addition to some of the Chicago-based Palantiri.

I have also been quite remiss in not publicly welcoming several team members who have joined us not-so-recently:

Amy and Steve started last fall, and Robin came on-board in the winter. If you've had the chance to meet them, you already know how awesome they are, but it bears repeating here.
