Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the design, development, quality assurance, implementation and support of browser-based software applications using both proprietary and open source development tools.
  • Working with project managers, tech leads, and clients to determine business needs and requirements as well as user needs and requirements.
  • Supporting project managers and tech leads with client meetings and follow-up.
  • Providing task-based time estimates.
  • Developing project technical specifications and wireframes with team members, clients, and external partners.
  • Reviewing the work of fellow Engineering team members and providing them with advice and consultation.
  • Refining development policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Actively engaging with the Drupal community through participation in regular conferences, forums, and online groups.
  • Participating in client training sessions and workshops.

Experience:

  • Expert knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Expert knowledge of database design and deployment for dynamic DB driven Web sites using MySQL and other similar SQL databases.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Drupal platform.
  • Proficient with the Linux/Apache hosting environment.
  • Strong understanding of HTML design capabilities and constraints of various platforms and browsers.
